What are the charges?
Information on our charges can be obtained by calling our Manager on 01254 873623. Low income is not a bar to becoming a resident and depending upon your own circumstances you may be able to claim Housing Benefit towards the cost of our charges. The level of any savings that you have may affect the benefits that you can claim. The Citizens’ Advice Bureaux or your local Benefits office will be able to give you more advice regarding this.
GP AND HEALTH SERVICES: Can I keep my own GP?
Temporarily yes, for long term we would recommend switching to our local GP
DENTIS/CHIROPDY: How do I get to see a Dentist or Chiropodist?
We allow dentist and chiropodist visits.
Are there hairdressing facilities?
Yes, we have our own hair salon which has been newly refurbished, along with a hairdresser every 2 weeks.
Cooking is a real chore and I need a special diet. Can you help?
Yes we have a specialised chef that will cater you and work with you to the bets of our ability.
Is smoking allowed?
We have a dedicated smoking area.
VISITORS: When can my family and friends visit me?
Yes. Within reasonable time.
FURNISHINGS: Can I bring my own furniture, TV etc?
Standard equipment comes with the room, eg. tv bed wardrobe. But you are more than welcome to bring your own.
